I just tested this thing out, and it works really well. It feels really well made, and the sockets have a firm and satisfying feel when I plug into them.
The device really feels solid all the way around. Great for slide shows, etc. I plugged it in to my monitor, and it was ready to go right out of the box with no setup. Pros: Simple, responsive, feels high quality.

Would not recommend purchasing, does not seem to last. This is a revision to the precious post.
